What happens when witches gather at the Slough only once every 100 years? Apparently, trouble… especially when they discover how humans have been treating their beloved swamp! 👀
Our very first Sloughwitched was a SOLD-OUT success! 🎃✨ Our guests embraced the mystery, the spooky encounters, and the story unfolding along the boardwalk after dark.
The witches had plenty to say about the state of their precious Slough. The Gator Bellower made her presence known, the Cypress Witch stood guard over her ancient trees, and the Owl Witch made sure the Plume Poacher faced the consequences of his actions! 🦉🪶
Fortunately, the Slough Witch discovered something that gave her hope. Not all humans have forgotten the magic of this special place! 💚 She encountered people who genuinely care about protecting the Slough: the dedicated high school students of the Monday Group, the Friends of Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve and its members, and the incredible Slough volunteers who give their time and hearts to this very special place.
