Orchid Isles Location   The site is located north of Colonial Blvd, south of State Road 82, east of Forum Blvd, and west of Six Mile Cypress Slough, at the headwaters of the Slough.  The 105.7-acre site is located within the City of Fort Myers. The parcel has been acquired by Lee County Conservation 2020 because of its ecological sensitivity.     This map shows the location of the Orchid Isles development in yellow and the approximate boundaries of Six Mile Cypress Slough Preserve in violet. The project is at the headwaters of the slough system.           This shows the project and Preserve in context with all of Lee County.
